who we are
Artists@Work (A@W) is the adult art league program at KVPAC (a 501 c3 non-profit) for those of all skill levels; from the ‘just getting started’ to the professional artist. A@W is dedicated exclusively to the development of artistic talent, exhibition venues and community involvement in the visual arts. Its activities and events are organized by its volunteer officers and members. To join, return completed A@W membership application with dues to KVPAC. Sept 22 | LSAG show: Nellie Kress is judge; Logan Mat Cutters demo during judging. |
Oct. 20 | Making Fine Art Mosaics and Altars with Mary Lambeth, a 1/2 day worckshop to follow (TBA) |
Nov 3 | Museum and Gallery visit at the Menil and see WAS-H Members' Show, with lunch in the area. |
Dec 15 | Christmas Party - make an artsy ornament for the gift exchange at Kathleen's house at 10:00 am. |
Jan 26 | "Still-Life Composition, Beyind the Academic" with Nell Bednarz - Bring something to use in a still-life. |
Feb 22-23 | LSAG show, theme: "The Four Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air", judged by A.J. Schexnayder; Reception Friday,4-7 pm. |
Mar 22 | Arts For All Festival, located at La Centerra, Katy. Festival attendees will vote on their favorite for 'Peoples Choice Award.' Exhibition theme: "Wild About Texas" (Members only exhibition). |
April 26 | "En Plein Air" with Marchita Priest, on location TBA. |
